Warranty issue

I may have to send my new Nuvi 750 in for a fix.
The aux input jack ( hole ) must have a loose fitting inside. When I plug an aux. cable into it, I only get sound out of the left side ( Yes it is a 1/8" stereo cable ). After I pull the aux cable out, I do not get any sound from the units speaker. If I wiggle the cable in and out a little, sometimes I get intermitent sound from both sides, and if I mess with the plug a little, I can get sound from the units speaker....but that should happen. My unit is only 6 months old and it has only been used about 7- 10 times.
Has anyone had this problem ?
Has anyone had to send their unit in for warranty repairs? If so, how was it, how was the replacement unit ?
