NUVI 260 WITS END

WHY NO ONE CAN HELP & ANSWER ME WITH A SIMPLE QUESTION IS BEYOND ME.....I NOTICED MANY VIEWS OF MY POST YET NO REPLIES....IS THAT , NO ONE HAS THE ANSWER IS NO ONE CARES .OR BOTH.....I'M REALLY FRUSTRTATED BECAUSE I DO AUTO DETAILING & IT'S CRITICAL I'M ABLE TO LOCATE SATALITES INSTEAD OF WAITING SO F$%^& LONG...ANY HELP WOULD BE EVER SO THANKFUL.

I own a nuvi 260 and i am very happy with it , however the only question i have is why does it take so long to find satalites , it can vary at times from as little as 2 minutes or as long as ( literally ) 5-7 minutes at which time i have to go back and reload the information and start over , as though it is a new destination.
I'd like to think there's nothing wrong with it, although i'm begining to think otherwise because why else would it do this, i have NEVER dropped this, ,my wife never uses it , unless i'm wth her and even then she'd much rather have me set it up and program it.....i dont have a problem with her using it and if she dropped it she's tell me.
Can someone tell me what they think the problem is ..otherwise i am very happy with my garmin nuvi 260...it's awesome and i hasve not one time gotten lost...it has NEVER taken me to the wrong place...etc etc etc ....any help would be greatly appreciated.

City navigator 2010 cd north america …not sure why it won’t load into computer

My buddy made a copy of the of the city navigator Cd north america for my nuvi 260 and i literally spent over 2 and a 1/2 hrs today trying to load it into my computer with my USB cable...to no availe...obviously im doing something wrong....there are no prompts and no directions that came with this CD ..so i was clicking this button and that button ...so i'm not sure if ill ever get it right....but anyway .....can someone help me out ...im not sure how much more of the frustraton i can take if this....i know there are some young men and women out there who are far better literate on GPS know all then i am ....here i thought i was pretty good with this stuff........surprise....LOL......any help would be awesome.....i do auto detailing therefore up to date info is critical....
